In May 2015 we took a group of 7 students to Estonia to visit our new partner school and explore the medieval city.
We stayed in three apartments in the heart of the old town and students were encouraged to be as independent as possible .
We had an excellent trip which included a visit to the seaplane museum where we were able to excplore a submarine. We had a workshop in the art museum on the work of Hilma af Klint. We explored the old town and took many photogrpahs ready for the students to do follow up work back at school. We visited a wonderful special school where our students were immersed in the daily routines and lessons. A visit to the zoo rounded off our trip.
For Tanis, Ian, Pauline and me it was an excellent expereince - we had as much fun as the students. The students all thoroughly enjoyed their time and broadended their horizons and furthered their learning.
