It is important that Lakeside plays a part in the training of new teachers. 

We have long had a partnership with the University of Herts to provide long and short term placements for their B.Ed students. 

We also work with Amwell View as lead school for Schools Direct and can provide, as required, places for trainees who wish to undertake the Schools Direct route into teaching.
