National Autistic Society Re - Accreditation 2016
In January 2016 we received confirmation of our re- accreditation by the National Autistic Society. Click the report below to read the full report.
We are delighted to be given a commendation for our support for families. This has been determined by the panel to be exceptional/outstanding practice that should be celebrated by the service. This commendation will go forward to be considered for an annual award hosted at the NAS Professional Conference.
Lynnette and Karen especially should be congratulated for their work in achieving this commendation.
The report details the things Lakeside should celebrate:
- The response to the questionnaire survey and the level of parental satisfaction evidenced
- The commitment and dedication shown by the staff team and the systems that are in place to support staff
- The strong consistent practice
- The positive environment that has been created.
National Autistic Society Accreditation
In January 2013 we received official confirmation of our accreditation by the National Autistic Society. This followed a three day accreditation visit to the school by two accreditors from the NAS. All aspects of school life were scrutinised against the standards set by the NAS. This included talking to parents, and a parent questionnaire. The following is a summary of the report.
